YG Family heads out to the movie theatre to support Big Bang's TOP for his first time ever leading in a blockbuster movie, demonstrating their loyalty.
YG Entertainment's actual head, Yang Hyunseok, popular idol groups Big Bang and 2NE1 members, in addition to YG music producers Teddy and Kush all made their way to the entrance of the Seoul Lotte Cinema on June the 8th in the afternoon. The reason was that on this day at the theatre, they would be showing the VIP premiere of the movie "Into the Gunfire", with TOP as a lead actor.
On the 9th, YG representatives revealed "The Big Bang members went to the theatre that day and wish that 'Into the Gunfire' will be a huge success, as TOP poured his soul into filming it." "Of course, they also sent a message of support to TOP."
They also added, "It's been a while since the 2NE1 members and Yang President (Yang Hyunsuk) have visited a theatre personally. After seeing Top's performance, they expressed their satisfaction and pride."
'Into the Gunfire' is a film that depicts the story of 71 student soldiers who ran to the front line in the middle of a desperate war between the North and the South. The dispute that took place in August of 1950, was in order to protect the Nakdong Delta support line on which the fate of the Korean war hung upon. In this movie, TOP plays a student soldier named Oh Jangbum. The movie will hit the theatres on the 16th.
